Yes, there are still errors on the page. I am working on it and keep an eye on the page so I can see what (if anything) gets corrected. They say changes typically take effect within 14 days. So when the 15th day hits (unless it’s listed as being behind on the processing time page) I resubmit the correction.
They did add some of the corrections today I just noticed. So things ARE happening.
These are the errors I am working on, if you have noticed one that I don’t list, message me through the contact me form.
They didn’t merge the mis-spelling of Teddy with the correct Teddy, they just completely removed it (today’s edit). So I’m working on that as well.
Harris Goldberg is listed as writer. He wrote the 2002 movie also called Love Conquers Paul, I discovered through research. I have submitted this one some 3 or 4 times.
Shawn Shaffer is incorrectly listed as key grip.
Teddy Schenck was deleted from Art Dept, and also deleted as ‘New Guy’ (due to a mis-spelling) [edited to add: IMDb says that there is already a Teddy Schenck listed under Art Direction, so my guess is this is in progress]
- Dr Bannon is missing as ‘Dr Swatt’
- Alex Wright is missing as ‘Young Paul’
- The listing under trivia identifying Phillips Head as The Rayz (because I couldn’t list them collectively) is still missing.
The following people are listed under a different person with the same name:
Rob Reed
Joe Moore (only under the art dept though)
Shawn Shaffer

Lately I’ve been getting messages in my email telling me that the IRS has determined that they owe me money–anywhere from $99 and change to more than $400.
Big problem. I haven’t worked in almost 4 years because of a disability. I have had no income, therefore no INCOME tax return is possible.
Another big problem. The link the email provides does NOT go to the IRS. It starts as a link to DSMLoggers and ends up at a www.ohmarshop.com domain.
The site asks for your DEBIT card number, your CV2, which is the authentication that most online sites require in order to complete a purchase (basically it ‘proves’ you have possession of the card), AND your PIN.

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that
you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $99.23.
Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 3-6 days in order to
process it.
A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons.
For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.
To access your tax refund, please click here [link intentionally broken by LCP Intern]

I won’t be doing a whole lot of updating for the time being I suppose. My work as a PA is done, so… yeah. I’ll update more when I GET info to post, and I hope that my co-workers send me pix to post (hint hint hint). So I’ll post when (if) that happens.
If you want to follow the page and not check everyday there are 2 ways to do it now.
You can subscribe with an RSS feed, or click on the little yellow box from FeedBlitz. Bothare on the left-hand side, above the search box.
I’ve been using Feed Blitz for some time and can assure you that you won’t be spammed by them (or me since it only sends updates when I actually MAKE a post).

Seems Murphy took the night off. because we wrapped at around 6 am. I’m glad, but depressed. I’ve enjoyed this and am going to miss everyone.
Brendan gave me a picture of the two of us with a note on the back and it just kind of made things sink in that this was the end (of this phase)–I’m glad I was alone reading it, b/c I started crying (yeah, I’m a fuckin sap, okay?).
Tonight’s the wrap party (in about 8 hours actually, and I haven’t been to sleep yet (had to unwind). So, now I’m off to sleep (I HOPE!!!!!!!!!) I’ll try to update more later (most likely tomorrow).

Okay, I know some of the crew and cast read this. Please, guys, if you have pictures from the set, off set, goofing off, whatever, email them to me so that I can add a pix page. My email is on the crew list that the ADs have.

Tonight was a picture wrap on Rus (2nd lead). That kind of made it sink in that this is almost over. I’d be lying if I said I don’t need a break. I do. I’ve learnt from this stint that I truly CAN’T work full time for the long term. It’s also shown me that I CAN work, I just have limitations. (I have a disability). I’m definitely going to miss it. (God, I’m starting to feel maudlin now…).
One good thing has come of this (well, more than one, but one for now). I have new job references. I was told earlier that pretty much I’ve done a good job and that made me feel good!
———————————————
I got to watch a scene with Rus and Brendan earlier. I know I’ve said how much I enjoy watching Brendan, esp when he gets into his ‘zone’. But I haven’t had a lot of chance to see them work together. Just amazing… *shakes head* The scene tonight, Ray (Rus’s character) goes from really jubilant to really low really fast. And to see it happen… shit, I knew I was watching acting, and I still felt sad. And it’s not like watching a play where you pretty much only see the players and the stage/props/etc. I was seeing lights, set, monitor, crew, etc. Guys, if you read this, you two are awesome!
———————————————
I blew a couple lockups tonight… :-/ People walking onto set/opening the door when they shouldn’t have, and it wasn’t a case of people just ignoring me (which has happened), but a case of me not checking lock-up status.
It’s still intimidating to ask (or tell) a producer to bring the volume down a bit, or not to walk b/c sound is picking it up. But I guess that comes with learning.
Okay, off to bed. It’s 6 am and my eyes are blurring. (I figured out that the walk home after a loooonnnnggg day on set in order to save $3.25 cab fare is just NOT worth it!!).

I don’t mean this in the philosophical, thought-provoking sense. I mean this in the sense of: I will say something to someone and they not only don’t answer but they seem to look right through me (if they look my way). Or I’ll say something on the radio and not get an answer or acknowledgment, not even static.
I realise people are busy. I realise EVERYONE’S stress levels are up. I mean, fuck, I’ve been living on xanax and my job isn’t the most stressful on set. But is an acknowledgment that you heard me when I am talking to you so much to ask? Seriously? I mean, I stand there wondering if anyone heard me or if my walkie battery croaked.
—————————————————
We have a 1pm call time tomorrow (general crew, which means I’m there at 12 noon). So we’ll be working til 1 am or so. So I may actually get to go to class Tuesday like planned, and get my notes from people so that I can cram for not one, but TWO midterms on Thursday. (Depends on Tuesday’s call time and how much sleep I need/can get).
I DON’T want to go back to school. I’ve enjoyed this, high-stress be damned. The thought that it’s almost over is a depressing one.
—————————————————
IMDb is driving me nuts. No fewer than two people have duplicate credits (like, same section/same job basically), one person has a credit in a section that I SWEAR I didn’t add him in… and half our people still aren’t added. And when they get added, I need to go through and add the correct order to their names. However, Phillips Head’s members, Rus, and Dale Mattison are all showing up as having pages even though the film isn’t listed yet, and I remember that they weren’t before, so we’re making progress.

There is a memorable quotes page–random funny or odd things that have been said by any of us. It’s passworded. If you want access let me know (cell, email, or at work) and I’ll give you the info.
BTW, the quotes aren’t credited. If you want to claim your own quote, go for it. (Please don’t ‘out’ someone’s quote, just in case, yeah? ;-) ).

it would be the one that Peter Riegert is on set. I went to work for a little while after an appt.; lasted from around 11.30 til 1.15 so I did get to see him act a bit. (I already knew he’s a good actor–Damages is one of my favourite shows, but watching someone in person is cool).
————————————————————————————
Added to the list of jobs I don’t want: anything that requires being strapped into the back of (or on top of) a moving vehicle. I’ve seen in twice during filming and it just freaks me out.
